Here are some pictures of my Sportster (my first Harley):

This was my Sportster!

I bought the sportster in 1997. I did a lot of custom work on it and then got a good offer so I sold it and bought the FXD.

The Sporty - Engine

It started as an 883 motor but ended up a 1200, with headwork, cam, crane ignition and Screaming Eagle pipes and breathing kit.

The Sporty - Suspension

I had 7" mini Ape-Hanger handlebars, a Progressive fork kit and a Dragway Fork Brace on the Front.

The Sporty - Suspension

I also had Progressive shocks on the back.

The Sporty - Cosmetics

I put on the Bob-tail rear guard, backrest and the Sportster Sport seat. You can also see the slash cut Screaming Eagle pipes from this angle.

The Sporty - Range

Sportsters are notorious for their limited range (120klms to the tank). Fitting the Fat Bob tank increased the range to around 200klms.

The Sporty

I had these detachable bags for touring.

Here are some humorous pictures:

True, but funny

Ethnolinguistic vitality!

We really shouldn't laugh!

I love politics sometimes!

Election Blues

Says it all really
